Review of Blue Velvet (1986) by Stephen H — 21 Mar 2012
David Lynch's powerful film has some moments that I will always remember. The entire sequence where Kylie Maclchlan is hiding inside Isabella Rossellini's closet makes it a special film. The story telling is masterly but somewhere I felt it ran out of steam.
It makes me feel silly as there are still a couple of David Lynch films I have not seen. I had seen this in '92 first time ... and that was a pre DVD era.
