Review of Blue Velvet (1986) by Alex C — 06 Oct 2010
Probably the most easiest to comprehend film by modern surrealistic director David Lynch, Blue Velvet has something that distinctively takes our attention for granted at first, and then suddenly throws it away at the ending.
Talking about the style, it shows a lot of trademark of Lynch's crafts, indeed. But unfortunately, I don't think the director should have been satisfied with such a lousy happy ending. What, you're hoping me to had enough with the hero hiding in a wardrobe and kills the villain just like that? You gotta be kidding me.
