I think the most accurate description of this film would be "beautifully depressing". I was left wondering why Ryan Gosling wasn't also in the oscar conversation. Definitely a movie that makes you think, especially after its conclusion.
I think this leaves all people in relationships asking themselves "that won't happen to me, will it?" Really makes you think about where you stand in your own relationship.
