Review of Blue Valentine (2010) by Christopher C — 29 Mar 2012
This is a great film about what it is like to fall in (and then out) of love. Michelle Williams definitely deserved her Academy Award Nomination for this role. Ryan Gosling does fairly well too. It's a bit of a roller coaster of emotions as you fall in love with the characters and have to sit back and watch as things go horribly wrong.
I usually stay away from Romantic-Dramas, but this was one that I was happy I watched. It's very realistic...and therefore, kind of sad.
