Who knew that a film about two individuals being miserable could be so riveting. Blue Valentine is a wonderfully crafted relationship film filled with raw and gripping performances from both Gosling & Williams who are both just sensational at their naturalistic best.
The film is heartbreaking yet engaging and at times brutal, but what you have on your hands is a great film.
