Review of Blue Valentine (2010) by Christine Y — 14 Apr 2015
Dark and nonlinear and doesn't have a happy ending (or, rather the ending is open to interpretation) - Which I think are qualities indie-film buffs would admire. Michelle Williams has this really quiet, child-like, charm to her and Ryan Gosling is just damn good at the boyfriend rule (whether he's balding or in love with a life-size sex doll).
