Review of Blue Valentine (2010) by Nefert M — 11 Mar 2012
Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams performances are the best reason to see this film. They have a great chemistry on screen in these powerful performances. The film kind of reminded me of the movie, The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
However, I liked that film more than this one. I did like the style of this film. However, the pacing was off. If they would have fixed the pacing on the film, then it would have been a much better movie.
However, the film is worth checking out for Gosling and Williams performances.
