Review of Blue Sky (1994) by Tara H — 15 Mar 2016
Jessica Lange plays a neurotic army wife in this 50s drama. With Tommy Lee Jones as her long-suffering husband, it movingly depicts a difficult marriage. Lange's character has echoes of Marilyn Monroe and other sirens of the day.
There is a subplot concerning atomic waste but that is less effective and this is essentially a well-acted romance.
