Review of Blue Ruin (2014) by Daniel S — 01 Sep 2014

A movie that got a lot of good buzz when it finally came out, it's a hidden gem from film festivals, no real big stars, but still really good, a slow burn that keeps the suspense up for most of the movie, I sometimes questioned the decisions of the main character, but I guess the point was that he didnt really know what he was doing, so his plans wouldnt be perfect, buzz from home alone shows up in another solid supporting role, (after another good one in nebraska) proves yet again you dont need a lot of money to make a good movie, worth checking out.
