I didn't expect to like this as much as I did. The main character was played to absolute perfection. The revenge plot is tired, but this movie told the tale with a deft touch. It's a morality tale without being trite or preachy.
I highly recommend this ... The star of Blue Ruin, Macon Blair, deserves an Oscar.
