Review of Blue Ruin (2014) by Eric O — 18 Nov 2014
Promising first film, I'm now very interested to see what the director can do next. Being able to make a pretty good thriller with what I'm sure was a relatively small budget bodes well for Jeremy Saulnier.
It also helps that Blue Ruin is well written and well acted by a no-name cast. Very brutal in parts.
