Review of Blue Jay (2016) by Spencer K — 07 Dec 2016
It's a simple concept, but the incredible performances by Mark Duplass and Sarah Paulson, (who is one of the greatest actresses we have working today and this proves it), make this nostalgic trip down memory lane one to remember.
It's a very lowkey movie, but it's a very powerful one. Sensitively directed, strongly acted and very well executed for a movie that is basically just two characters talking the entire time. I never got bored with it though.
It was entertaining, intriguing, and emotional throughout its swift running time.
