Definitely a quality Woody Allen film, but let's be honest: this is Cate Blanchett's movie. While the plot isn't exactly riveting, Blanchett is mesmerizing to watch. You dislike, pity, and even love her character because of her performance.
But give Allen credit, he knows not to bore his audience with a long movie. The pacing and length are impeccable.
