Cate blanchett plays the title role in a way I have never seen before. there is such sincerity in every scene she is in but what she does that very few actors do is she shows the viewer what Jasmine is thinking and that jasmine is basically a good caring woman.

I dont know how these actors do this but it must be extremely emotional for them.without blanchett this is a weak woody Allen movie w predictable plot line. cate is an eye magnet. you can't take your eyes off of her.

she will win the best actress Oscar. no doubt in this movie lovers mind.
