Can you say "And the Oscar goes to Cate Blanchett for Blue Jasmine!" because I certainly can. That was a simply stunning performance. That has Best Actress Oscar written all over it. An otherwise simple story, but the twist made it amazing.
Woody Allen has done it again. Telling the story of this woman's descent into madness flashing back and forward from the past to the present without revealing how it all came to be was just brilliant.
