I think France is an amazing country and that French women are angels sent from heaven. I've been lucky enough to have been in France many times and every time I go back, I'm in awe of the natural and sophisticated beauty of French women.

If you make a movie about French lesbians, you cast two darlings and have a very good story with lots of nudity and unsimulated sex, I'm done. I'd love it beginning to end.

Blue is the Warmest color is a phenomenal film that is bathed in controversy because people are a bunch of puritan douchebags. Why is watching two young ladies in love get it on? Isn't sex supposed to be the consummate act of love? The moment when two people find themselves in a physical way? How exactly is that controversial? It's not perverted or dirty - this is not Showgirls or Doubt (not that I didn't enjoy both of those movies too).

This is the story of two women that love each other and lust for each other like I haven't seen in ages. They really cannot take their eyes - and their hands off each other. I guess that is the kind of lust people yearn to have and 99% of the time fail. If everyone would be so lucky, there would be a lot less stress.

The only thing I would change from this movie is that it goes on for 3 hours and could easily be an hour or 45 minutes shorter and still deliver. Ultimately this is nitpicking and movie like this one should be treasured.
