A pioneering film, not just for the LGBT community, but for coming-of-age stories as a whole.More films like this need to be made not because of the sex scenes as what most people who watch it will remember, but for showing the painstaking truth of love no matter what the sexual identity.
Léa Seydoux and Adèle Exarchopoulos are truly the greatest gems of the film with their heartbreaking and powerful performances as the young lovers showing every true emotion a teenager and young adult experience.
There are no fallacies in their performances, they're simply perfect.
