Review of Blue Is the Warmest Color (2013) by Samy A — 15 Apr 2014
A beautiful chronicle of the life of Adele a young lady exploring her sexuality and awakening desires through her encounter with Emma a young art student with blue hair. Their love story blossom then drift away under our eyes.
Kechiche knows how to capture every little details, every little feelings and ideas going through the mind of his heroines on screen. Both actresses are beyond good and the films goes on for almost three hours, embarking you on a ride of passion, personal growth and self discovery like few films have been able to do with such accuracy and beauty.
A good film.
