The writer, art director and the director have to learn what the word 'subtle' means, because they clearly don't. They cram everything down our throats, acting like the audience is so stupid they can't understand the meanings of the film.
98% of this film is shot as close-ups, the script is just so forceful and dull and was way too long at nearly three hours. Plus there was so much blue in this film, that every single shot had some form of blue in the background/foreground.
We get it movie, blue is symbolic, no need to smash my head in with the fact. The sex scenes are pointless and way too long running at over 5 minutes. It shows how perverted the director is as most of these and what they were trying to mean could've been done in less then 30 seconds.
He just wanted to see the two mains, who are good in the film, naked. It's a shallow, dull and lazy film. Which boarders on just being a really shit porn, with a three hour romance story, that contains paedophilia.
