Review of Blue Is the Warmest Color (2013) by James L — 27 Oct 2017
Everything you would expect from French cinema; provocative, controversial and contemplative. It's a simple love story but told in an interesting way. A testament to being young and in love with all the confusion and heartbreak that entails.
The characters are analysed in an almost discomfortingly honest and intimate way. Superbly acted and emotionally captivating.
