Review of Blue Is the Warmest Color (2013) by Marcus E — 07 Dec 2013
Great movie! I didn't know it would be in English subtitles only, so I almost walked out when I realized it. I decided to stay, and I was rewarded for that decision. This movie is not a sex or homosexual movie.
This movie is really a coming of age movie. Its about realtionships, love, experiences, decisions, consequences, learning, and resiliency. Adele is an interesting character, and I left out of there thinking there should he a followup to this movie.
I felt really invested in her because I saw her grow up throughout the movie. Grade A for her character development. This movie has some scenes that a raw and in you face, so get used to it. I will say most fit with the dialogs at the time, a couple were a tad too much.
