Review of Blue Is the Warmest Color (2013) by Hannah D — 25 Aug 2014
This is a long film that lasts nearly three hours, but at no point does it drag. It is a really riveting story about two girls in love, and the two female leads are played by really strong actresses. There are a few adult scenes, which are bordering on titillation at times, and felt a bit unnecessary, but this is an otherwise excellent French drama, which richly deserved to win a Palme d'Or.
