Nice Hollywood musical ...filmed in Hawaii in color which makes it nicer . Too many songs and a plot w no denouement ....but something about it survives the decades ! (Maybe elvis in smug proto speedos and crooning softly of love and sunsets every five minutes?).
All sexism aside , it's mostly a girls movie ( well, it's good for dudes , too. A lotta twistin' babes!).
