For what you might expect I think Blue Crush is pretty good.
On the surface is Girls in bikinis trying to surf. Beneath that is a pretty good sports movie mixed with a decent enough surf film genrally enough Hollywood to keep the masses happy and somewhat unpredictable and original enough to satisfy most of the rest.
