Review of Blue Crush (2002) by Zack S — 11 Jan 2010

Blue Crush was a bit of a surprise for me. I didn't expect to nearly like it as much as I did, but it was really entertaining throughout. Of course, the cinematography and scenery is beautiful and the surfing scenes are quite exhilarating and well done.

The storyline is also pretty solid as it's a nice coming-of-age story. Sure, it's predictable at times, but still easy and fun to follow. I guess my only problem with the film is that the acting isn't great and neither is the script, but this movie is still very fun and consistently entertaining throughout.
