Review of Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie (2003) by Cecily B — 21 Jan 2010
As a movie, it's nothing (a few staged interludes aside). But it has two great comedians (and a good one, and a fair one), at the top of their game, performing some great material. The great ones are Jeff Foxworthy and Ron White; Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall are the good and the fair, respectively.
In fact, all of them are above average, and at the end, when they come together, their camaraderie shows, making it all the more enjoyable. The directing and photography are simple and unobtrusive, as they should be.
If like these guys (and I do), you'll have a great time.
