Review of Blue Collar (1978) by Michael G — 06 Jan 2016
The most wrongly neglected film of the Golden Age of the 1970s. This is the most truthful film about the death of the American working class in that decade. Bruce Springsteen romanticized this epochal event, Schrader doesn't.
Raw, painful, brilliant ... and absolutely worth your time.
