Review of Blue Caprice (2013) by Faisal Z — 23 Jul 2014
Blue Caprice is a sleeper of a movie. I was thinking its a movie all about a car etc... this movie turned out to be much much more.
This movie is about the sniper killings in Washington from the father and son duo.
So it is based on a true story.
The trailer in the movie does not do the movie justice all you see is them driving in the car.
A powerful movie we a powerful message I do not agree with what happened but the movie does explain why and how they went about to do what they did.
The movie has Isaiah Washington from Grey's Anatomy fame and a new comer to the ranks Tequan Richmond he plays the young son that is adopted by Isaiah's character and they build a strange and abnormal father son relationship.
The movie is not for the kiddies.
I was impressed with the story telling and what the film maker could achieve with the little budget he had.
