Review of Blow-Up (1966) by Alvin Y — 10 Aug 2010
I'm just gonna say that this was a film that you would not understand at first viewing. Instead of me adding more comments and reviews about this film, I would put more questions that rather most people are desirable to answer it as well.
1) What is the meaning of the ending where Thomas saw 2 people playing ball without ball?
2) Why did Antonioni (the director) didn't tell us who the killer was?
3) Where did the girl went (the one who Thomas met after he took pictures at the park)?
I mean there are a lot more questions that I want to ask but still I was amaze and impressed by this film. It is probably one of the most absurd and anti-climactic good film that I've ever EVER seen in my life.
