Review of Blow-Up (1966) by Josh G — 04 Dec 2012
This is one of the films that inspired Brian DePalma's "Blow Out". I actually prefer DePalma's re-imagining, but Michelangelo Antonioni's portrait of swinging London is shot with gorgeous, meticulous technicolor photography, and is intriguing to the point that I know there's meaning, but I'm left trying to discover what that meaning is.
It's definitely a film worth revisiting several more times to learn more about its mysterious happenings, but then again, perhaps there isn't a clear answer. Perhaps it will differ from person to person.
