DePama's best film...
Great performances all around and it's all so good and so visually brilliant that I swear... SCORSESE himself, ripped the "Fireworks" scene right off years later in his CAPE FEAR re-make.
Blasphemy? Maybe... but the similarities are unforgivable.
I love this film (which itself... is a remake as well).
Watch it!
