Review of Blow Out (1981) by Burton D — 13 Aug 2011
A murder mystery of, by, and for film geeks. The ways image and sound can be meshed to reveal and mutate scenarios are fascinating. John Lithgow is every bit as robotic and sinister as a pre-Anton Chingurh.
The De Palma flourishes are as over-the-top and wonderful as ever.
