Review of Bloodsport (1988) by Hardy H — 09 Mar 2009
For those who thought highly of this, DO NOT make the same mistake I did and go back and watch it. Some things are way better left in your memory... trust me, this is one of those.
Ludicrous acting and direction, which I was prepared for when I went back and watch it again. What I did not remember was that the action was lousy, moves are fake and broken-up. the fascinating urban landscape of Hong Kong might be the only good thing here....
So leave it in your memory, and when you really feel like mindless butt-kicking, rent Ong Bak instead.
