Review of Bloodsport (1988) by Joshua H — 28 Oct 2010
An OK movie that brings up a lot of questions. The racial stereotypes such as the American Donald Gibb basically being a pro wrestler or the black guys fighting like monkeys. The movie never explains why Dux is wanted by the government really. The whole reporter plot line was dumb. The soundtrack awesome 80s music accompaning a montage happened maybe one too many times.
Despite all these flaws I still enjoyed the movie, which you basically watch for the fighting and nothing else.
