Van Damme was always my favourite of all the action stars (still is). I watched nearly all the movies he did right up until 1996, then I stopped. They don't make these kind of movies anymore, fun karate movies.
Back when I was 5 to 15 this was these were the only movies I watched. Bloodsport, Bloodfist, King of The Kickboxers, and so many others. Watching them now they are poorly acted and they are not really that good.
However I can still see why as a kid I enjoyed them. They are like fast food, they are bad and cheap, but they are fun to watch when you turn your inner critic. Bloodsport is one of Van Damme's best movies.
