Review of Bloodshot (2020) by Professorfett — 20 May 2020
Vin Diesel is back in another movie where he is the ultimate warrior in a tank top that can't be stopped. This time he has the Wolverine healing factor that they don't do anything that interesting with.
I know this is based off a comic book I personally never read. All I could say is that I hope the books are better. The main issue I have with this movie isn't the plot that actually has some twist and with some tweaking it could be stupid compelling.
It isn't with Vin Diesel who can play his monotone character well. It is the villain of the movie. Bloodshot doesn't have a compelling baddie that can even do anything. The antagonist are so under-powered that they end up serving as punching bags for Vin Diesel.
His character is never in any real danger nor are you even remotely thinking he won't win. This year already has shown us better action movies Bloodshot is just a pass honestly.
