Review of BloodRayne: The Third Reich (2010) by Colin H — 30 Jun 2011
So you might ask me, why haven't you learnt your lesson from the last two films? Well... good question! But unlike the previous two, the third actually follows the game it is based off... by being set in World War two.
That's the validation over with!
This has to be one of the funniest movies I've watched. It is actually better than Bloodrayne 2, but that hardly means anything as the only reasons for this are that Rayne actually DOES something; she fights, kills people, and even share some girl-on-girl action. Now lets be honest here, with an Uwe Boll movie these are the only things available to maintain interest!
It is a horrible movie though. The editing is poor, there is a Nazi doctor (experimenting on vampires) who has the most annoying voice and accent, and doesn't shut up! He has so much screen time only to hiss and whisper the same things over and over with mind-numbing irritation. Not to mention, this movie is only an hour long, and ends with the most awful freeze-frame moment in history. Hilariously awful.
