The opening of this film has no exposition. The violence in it is way too over the top. It reminded me of an Italian zombie flock. And there's an incredibly long and graphic sex scene that has no place or reason in the film.
Only in the second act do we start to get exposition, which is incredibly boring and cliched. Ben Kingsley does nothing except sit in a chair and talk. There's one final fight scene at the end which is, at very best, anticlimactic and boring.
Michael Madsen And Michelle Rodriguez just read lines off the script. Terrible.
