Review of BloodRayne (2005) by Michael D — 22 Dec 2009

The ok action scenes in the beginning, featuring some surprisingly vicious gore make the lame conclusion very very underwhelming. Also the dialog that attempts to sound fantasy style (a la Lord of the Rings) is amazingly awful and will almost make your ears bleed by the end. The story also tries to be too complicated for it's own good and winds up being totally absurd by the end.

2 stars for a very hot Kristanna Loken and a hilarious Michael Madsen who seems drunk all the way through.

Also, for some odd reason, the famous Castle Neuschwanstein makes a brief cameo in what is obviously a crappily colored photograph...
