Too good to be true? It almost seems like it is a hoax. But they are going to excavate this stuff and the director has been on numerous TV shows with the relics they found. So is it true? We will have to wait to find out who is buried under Rennes-le-Chateau.

This documentary leaves me wishing Bruce Burgess had found professional archaeologists to help out. Note when the Tomb Man smashes the bottle on his kitchen table as his wife shouts 'don't break it!' It has its funny moments as well, such as when the director and the Tomb Man find a stone marked 'BS' for.

..Berenger Sauniere, and when someone tells them that there is a 'body of evidence' hidden in France, to which they immediately reply 'there's a body! Body of evidence means body!' Oh and let's not forget the creepy man who speaks on 'behalf' of the Priory of Sion.

It's really hard not to believe he's an actor. That being said, with all its Hollywoodesque moments, there is a lot of evidence uncovered in this film, against the odds it would seem. I mean, even if it isn't the body of Mary Magdalene, it's definitely a body.

I find it hard to think that any of this is a hoax on the director's part, mainly due to his constant conviction during the film and during interviews that he's not making it up. Whether or not someone else is making it all up, we cannot know.

However badly directed this may be, it is great fun and presents a lot of evidence for us to consider. Overall a fun documentary that I wish I had made.
