Review of Bloodfist (1989) by Michael W — 21 Mar 2013
We have seen it so many times before. The older brother is murdered, so the younger brother seeks revenge. This time we see Don "The Dragon" Wilson as the younger sibling searching the mean streets of Manilla for his brothers killers, and in the process just happens to stumble across an illegal kickboxing tournament.
A young Billy Blanks gives the finest performance from a black actor since Sidney Poitier in The Heat of the Night.
