Review of Bloodbath at the House of Death (1984) by Orlok W — 12 Feb 2012
British comedy horror. I enjoyed this more than more well-known films of this genre from England (e.g. The Old Dark House (1963) or even Comedy of Terrors). Its more of a American-type spoof with clever British type humor (done better than Carry On Screaming).
A group of scientists investigate radioactivity around the site of a mass murder years prior. Some Satanic priests (who act much like a masonic-type organization with power in local politics) dont take kindly to the scientists presence and use their evil powers to kill them.
Well, I dont want to spoil the end, but a nice ridiculous twist to complete the film! Vincent Price plays the High Priest. Well worth a view!
