Review of Blood Work (2009) by Alvin Y — 12 Jul 2010
It was a good and entertaining Eastwood movie but somehow I felt that the theme of the plot is been done before. The twist at the end was really unexpected. What I really don't like is that Eastwood's character feels in love with the sister of whom his heart transplant came from, meaning the sister of the woman who was killed has a relationship with him, well that was some kind of a heart relationship between 2 sisters.
The "Dirty Harry" type of Eastwood's character fits to this movie. Unlike any other Clint Eastwood movies, this one was really not slow or very sad theme like "Unforgiven", "Million Dollar Baby", "Gran Torino", it's just a movie that gives us entertainment with thrills and chills from start to end like the "Dirty Harry" movies.
