Review of Blood Work (2002) by Mike W — 30 Jan 2010
A smart, intense thriller that will keep you riveted the whole way. Eastwood plays the hard-nosed ex-FBI man so well, and does it perfectly here. For me, I was able to figure out the killer early on, but that didn't detract from the movie as a whole.
The twists and turns of a good detective story, when put in the hands of a guy like Eastwood, makes any predictability irrelevant. The way the killer picks people off left and right as Eastwood starts to put things together, and even suspect the wrong people, only adds to the suspense.
