OH MY GOD! This is now one of my new favorite movies!
This is DEFINITELY the best Coen film I've seen and I've seen nearly all of their films. The story is utterly amazing with twists and turns every second. The hour and a half flew by like it was twenty minutes!
The editing is one of the best jobs on editing I've seen in a film in a long, long time, harboring one of my now favorite cuts in which the character Maurice is going to press the answering machine as it cuts to Ray pushing the blood spot in his car. I rewound the film three times to watch the cut over and over again because it is simply amazing.
The soundtrack is also one of the best i've heard in a long time and very catchy and intensifies the darkness of the film.
This film is by far one of the best films i've seen recently and is now among my top ten movies (in the range of number 2 or 3). Utterly amazing!!
