Review of Blood Simple (1985) by Colin A — 09 Mar 2009
The Coen Brothers first movie which is easily one of their best if not the best film they've done. Fargo and No Country for Old Men are awesome; The Big Lebowski is a cult classic; their other gems like The Hudsucker Proxy, Barton Fink or Miller's Crossing; or Burn After Reading which I personally enjoyed.
This film stays savvy after about 25 years. The different story lines that you follow and the different perspectives that you see really make the movie great.
