I might be a bit backwards in my viewing rider of the Coen Bros. filmography but I guess that's slightly ironic knowing the duo's career. Although made in 1984 'Blood Simple' still holds strong.

And like other Coen brother movies, they get better the more you think on them and even when you re-tell them to friends. A great indy film with lots of great twists and turns to get you through to the fantastic ending.

Now I've heard theres an Asian flick that pays homage to 'Blood Simple' so rest assured that's worth checking out as well.
