Review of Blood Simple (1985) by Phillip M — 31 Mar 2013
If I have my facts straight I think this is one of the Cohen brother's earliest movies. It centers around Francis Macdermand's character trying to get away from her crazy and abusive husband played by Dan Hadeya.
It has everything you expect out of a Cohen brothers movie and is great for viewing alone because of all the little things you have to pay attention to to figure out what actually is happening. I found my copy at a good will for 99Cents in the Springs.
It was worth every penny and it has a nice new home with the rest of my dvds.
