Review of Blood Simple (1985) by Jared S — 24 Nov 2013
Solid film-noir debut from the Coen brothers. Blood Simple focuses on a simple premeditated murder that ends up in a complicated twist of events. The pacing and suspense here was a sign of good things to come for these guys (I can definitely see how the directors of Fargo and No Country For Old Men directed this gem).
