Review of Blood Reaper (2004) by Dave B — 15 Dec 2008
As far as terrible, micro-budgeted B-slashers go, Blood Reaper is okay. It takes no risks whatsoever, running with the absolute standard of the genre and deviating not even in the slightest. But, what tiny amount of money the makers of this film did have, they used it on blood (note: not gore effects.
Just ... blood). Thus, it's unintentionally hilarious from start to close ( and how many other slasher films explain their killer's backstory ... in song?). So, if you get a kick out of abysmal B-horror, you'll like Blood Reaper.
If not, you've probably never even heard of this film to begin with, and you're just better off that way.
